FMT security containers for keys, keycards and valuables
Ideal for service providers
The keys or keycards stored in the security container enable access to buildings for service providers or utility companies. Employees can open the containers within their area of operation with a company key and do not need to take any other keys or keycards with them.
Flush in the walls
FMT System GECO security containers were specifically constructed for flush-mounting in the masonry and are also described as tube safes or key repositories. The flush mounting in a concealed location offers good protection against break-in attempts. DIN profile half-cylinder constructions have integrated anti-drilling protection which creates an unexpected extra obstacle in the event of a break-in.
Stainless steel quality
High-grade massive stainless steel and surfaces electroplated to the highest requirements offer security and guarantee many years of use.
Different sizes and closures
FMT security containers are supplied in varying diameters and lengths and are suitable for exterior and interior wall mounting. Locks with disc tumblers (common locking or with custom locks) are either supplied directly with the containers or are available as accessories. Security containers suitable for DIN profile half cylinders are also available for integration into existing locking systems.
Suitable for outside and inside
Outside, the security containers serve primarily as key repositories. Inside, FMT safes are mainly used as tube safes for valuables.
These tube safes mounted into the wall take up little room and are particularly well suited to permanent mounting. Valuables such as money or jewellery can be stored in the safes, making them ideal for hotel rooms or private life.
Tips on installation
The security containers need to be mounted stably into the facade surface, slightly slanting towards the front; weatherproof locations are preferable. Installation is best done with a core drilling, whereby the container is inserted in the hole with 2-component adhesive or quick-dry cement, making sure it is flush to the facade.
Security container 2413
Stainless steel key safe with special lock
Security container 2413 is a complete stainless steel design, in which both the cylinder liner and the housing are made of stainless steel. The special lock with disc tumbler is integrated into the cylinder housing. Two keys are supplied with the safe. Designs (common locking) with customised locks are also possible if required.

Security containers 2422/01 and 2422/02
Key safe for DIN profile half cylinder
Containers 2422/01 and 2422/02 are suitable for DIN profile half cylinders (PHCs) with adjustable lock lug and can thus be integrated into already existing locking systems. Security container 2422/01 is dimensioned for mount- ing a 10/30 mm PHC and 2422/02 with its curved closure for mounting a 10/35 mm PHC.
The curvature of the 2422/02 is so formed that the cylinder tube mounted in the masonry is completely concealed by the overhanging flange of the cylinder housing, giving an optically pleasing finish. FMT also supplies special 10/30 mm PHCs with disc with the 2422/01 as an optional extra.
The cylinder tube is of stainless steel, the housing of nickel-plated brass. Hardened pins embedded in the cylinder housing protect the cylinder against drilling. Wall hooks on the back of the cylinder tube ensure a secure fit in the core hole.

Security container 2425
Key safe for access- and keycards
FMT’s security container 2425 is an expansion of the range of safekeeping of access- and keycards as they are used in modern lock systems. The interior for storing the cards is kept as small as possible in order to minimise the time and effort to mount the container. Security containers 2425 are suitable for 10/30 mm DIN profile half cylinders (PHC) with adjustable lock lug and can thus be integrated into already existing locking systems.

Inseparable key connectors
Securely linked keys
FMT key connectors are a special type of key ring. They link several keys, or keys with their corresponding labelling, rapidly and securely together, and prevent the unnoticed removal or exchange of individual keys. Provided the key connector is intact, therefore, there is no need to check the integrity and identity of the individual keys – a boon for companies or security firms that keep bunches of keys and need to hand them over quickly, securely and efficiently.
No non-destructive removal
The inseparable key connector consists of a stainless steel wire holder and a plastic element with integrated lock against unnoticed opening. The individual keys are threaded onto the wire holder, as with a conventional key ring. The open wire holder makes threading particularly easy. The second, plastic element serves as a seal. When the holder of the FMT key connector is inserted in the casing, it snaps into place. If any attempt is made to separate the parts and remove keys without being noticed, the plastic element is very visibly damaged.
Different colours
The key connectors are available in different colours for simple identification and classification of bunches of keys.
Material
Casing: ABS plastic
Wire holder: stainless steel

Tips on assembly
The wire holder of the key connector with the threaded keys is inserted into the plastic element and the slits on each side need to snap into it. After assembly, check that there is a firm fit, so that non-destructive opening is no longer possible.

Flexible cable protection (concealed cable transition) for doors and windows
Safe running of cables
System GECO flexible cable protection is required e. g. where electromechanical security locks or signal contacts for alarm systems in doors and windows need to be supplied with electricity via feed cables. The various stainless steel designs are deployable as concealed cable transitions for wooden, plastic and metal doors and windows. As a premium version for wooden doors, FMT offers a particularly secure cable protection with a resilient sleeve. The spiral spring, with the cable inside, is additionally fed through the sleeve, guaranteeing a perfect return to the initial position.
Vandal-proof installation
The flexible cable protection protects cables and wiring up to 10 mm Ø in doors and up to 5 mm Ø in windows from mechanical damage when opening and closing. The cables can move freely in the spiral spring when opening.
The secure running of cables thus achieved guarantees a long service life. In addition, the concealed installation provides effective protection against vandalism and unauthorised access.
Stainless steel quality
System GECO flexible cable protection is manufactured of completely rustproof material (stainless steel). The required fixing material is included in the purchase.
Suitable for all materials
For wooden doors and windows, an installation frame with round or squared forend according to the installation situation concerned is available if required. For a particularly clean installation into the frame, there is a trough for the clamping section as an optional accessory. Using the trough, the milled edge acquires a clean finish. Cable protection for direct installation in the hollow section of wooden or plastic windows and doors is delivered with a squared forend without installation frame.
Tips on installation
The flexible cable protection can be flush mounted at any height on the hinge-side surface of doors or windows. To improve the guidance properties of the flexible cable protection, the spring should be pre-tensed during installation by twisting it left or right. The distance between the centres of the holes for the ducts in doors, windows and frames can be up to 70 mm.
